At the helm of the kitchen, and also its namesake is Kirsty who has more than 35 years in the foodie industry. Her previous ventures include gourmet food institution Tangelo Fine Food in Hawksburn and Fethers Gourmet in Brighton.
Growing up in Melbourne, Kirsty has always had a deep burgeoning passion for food, and a desire to carve out not only a career, but also a life in this field. In earlier days, after studying fine art, travelling and working in fashion, she soon realised her dream. It was with food she could meld her creativity and presentation skills with her desire to create remarkable flavours using fresh local produce.
Today, at Sissi & Co, Kirsty and her husband Wayne head up a passionate and dedicated team of baristas, chefs, pastry chefs and wait staff.
